Place Towers
A clever tower placement is necessary in order to reach high numbers of waves.
A good position is always a corner, i.e. where the route is turning a different direction. At this point, the tower can focus better to the direction of the walking monster. The monster is longer within range of the tower.
Upgrade instead buying a new one
It can be more effective to upgrade an existing tower instead to place a new one.
Two towers with no upgrade are not as much powerful than a tower with an upgrade. Thats why you should always try to buy an improvement rather than a new tower. If you have not too much money, you can temporary buy a simple defensive tower and sell it later to buy an upgrade of another one.
So you can upgrade towers on important positions step by step.
Combinations of Towers
By clever combination of towers, you can take advantage of the properties.
If a tower a short distance or a weak firepower, you can place other towers to help him.
Old Flint is the best for support other towers, he slows down the enemies. This allows other towers with short range or low for more firepower to shoot at the monsters for a greater damage.
Maggie, Buster & Co.
Old Flint
Old Flint by adhesive cream can slow its opponents, the other towers are in range, the more opportunity to aim at the enemy.
By adhesive cream he can slow down its enemies, this allows other towers to aim longer at the enemy.
Hank
He can shoot through monsters, so a shot can take many monsters in a row.
As long as his beam moves through a monster, it loses energy of life.
Let Hank shoot in walking direction, that the electric beam remains longer in the body of the monster.
Maggie
Slash damage allows her to hit multiple monster near the targeted area. When monsters run so close together, they can all be hitted.
Combine Maggie with Old Flint to slow down monsters and catch more with one shot.
Buster
With his low firepower, he is not as good as the other towers. His skill lies in the speed of shots and the cheap price.
So he can quickly land some hits and with his little price he is always there.
Little Joe
The small boy has a lot of everything. slash damage (see Maggie) and a long range Is that what decorates him.
Placed on the center of the field and equipped with an improvement he can reach almost every corner of the map.
Little Joe is essential in higher waves.
